As we address the Coronavirus Pandemic together as a nation, we are taking all possible steps to keep our patrons, employees and communities safe.  During these difficult times, our goal is to safely maintain jobs for our employees, while continuing to serve the city we love so much.

At GVR Beer Garden, we have always been committed to rigorously applying the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety protocols as established by the Health Department.  We wanted to share the additional measures we are taking to be hyper-vigilant.

All employees have been advised to stay home if they are sick.  We are offering sick leave benefits to our staff so they do not feel like they need to choose between their work and their health.  

Require employees to wash hands frequently.  Employees have been trained on the proper hand-washing techniques and are washing and sanitizing their hands 4 more times than usual.  In addition, employees working in the kitchen will continue to wear food-handling gloves.

Sanitize often.  We are using sanitizer to regularly wipe down commonly used surfaces such as door handles, table tops, counters, sinks, oven handles, etc.

Take Out and Delivery.  We’ve got you covered!  Our menu is available for curb-side pickup and delivery within a 2 mile radius.  Delivery staff will simply ring your doorbell and leave your food on the porch.  

Updating our response efforts as recommended.  We are closely monitoring the CDC, Health Department and National Restaurant Association’s recommendations for containment and prevention and will post regular updates.
